  • Day 01: Delhi/Chandigarh: - Morning transfer to the domestic airport / Railway Station to board flight / train for Chandigarh. Met on arrival and transfer to Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel Sun Beam or similar - Chandigarh.
     
  • Day 02: Chandigarh / Manali (300 Kms) (06 -07 hrs. Drive) After Breakfast drive to Manali, and you will find the drive through the small markets and villages, well worth the time the moment you cross Bilaspur, Mandi, Kullu and other small markets. Enjoy Hot Lunch at Mandi in restaurant. And start the run up along side the RIVER BEAS to Manali. The first sight of the Icy Mountains cradling this picturesque township in their fold seems so inviting that the foot on the accelerator gets a shade firmer. And the rumbles in your tummy no longer care for sickness but excitement. En route pass through the Mandi - Mandi is the gateway to the Kullu Valley Kangra valley and Shimla. Late evening arrive at Manali on arrival check in the Hotel Banon Resort or similar for overnight with dinner.
     
  • Day 03: In Manali : Halt at Manali for levish display and visit 400 years old Pagoda Temple of Hadimba Devi and old Manali to see the Manu temple. Afternoon one can visit to the Vaishisht hot sulper spring bath. Lunch & Dinner Overnight at Hotel Banon Resort or similar.
     
  • Day 04: Manali - Jispa (3,182m) 142 km in 5 hrs drive:Early morning drive to Jispa after breakfast, through the Rohatang Pass 13,060 ft. around 51 km climb up to the Rohatang along a rough bridle path and once on top, enjoy the stunning panoramas of the array of snow peaks and glaciers. En route stop off at snow point a static point as it shifts with the snow. En route visit the Keylong with Hot Lunch at restaurant. Keylong at an elevation of 3350 m. is situated on the Manali-Leh road is the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti. It is the only place in Lahaul, which has a regular bazaar. It is ideally situated in the heart of the Himalayas in the lonely cornet with highs cliffs in the front covered with snow. This place is lush green. The climate of this place is dry and bracing but winters are very severe. Keylong located above Bhaga River the district headquarters of Lahaul Spiti has been described as oasis of green field. Dinner & Overnight will be Hotel Ibex - Jispa.
     
  • Day 05: Jispa - Sarchu 98 km in 5 hrs drive Early morning take the breakfast continue drive to Sarchu with Pack Lunch from Hotel then drive through the Darcha village. This place is the gateway for the trekker's to Lamayuru via Zanskar valley. We stop there for checking, because this is the last check post in the Himachal. we verify our passport and another documents. Than cross the Barlacha Pass (4650m). Sarchu is the very open place on the bank of the Bhaga river. The evening is too much windy. Dinner & Over night will be at the Sarchu tent.
     
  • Day 06: Sarchu - Leh (250 Kms - 09 Hours): Full day drive to Leh via Lachungla pass 5065 continue your drive and enjoy the nature beauty of the mountains continue drive through More plans there are chance to see tiny colonies of Marmots, Yaks & Herbs. At Pang enjoy Pack Lunch then drive Leh via Upshi and we have to cross second highest motorable pass in world (Tanglangla Pass 5350 Mtrs.) continue drive Arrive Leh 3500 Mts.Dinner & Overnight in Hotel Royal Palace / Namgayal Palace or similar - Leh.

  • Day 08 : In Leh: Leh Morning after breakfast a full day tour alongwith Pack Lunch . Shey - Until the 16th century it was the royal residence, Kings of Leh were supposed to be born in the monasteries. This Palace Monastery has the largest statue of Maitreya Buddha (Buddha to come) in Ladakh. Erected in the mid 17th century, worked out of gold and gilded copper sheets with blue hair, it stands 17.5 metres high. Thiksey - About 20 kms from Leh, Thiksey is an imposing monastery and one of the finest example of Ladakhi architecture. The 12 storey monastery complex contains numerous stupas, statues, thankas, wall paintings, swords and a large pillar engraved with the Buddha's teachings. The main prayer hall has a 15 mt high seated Buddha figure. Hemis Monastery - 40 kms from Leh, Hemis is one of the richest, biggest and most famous gompa in Ladakh. Built in 1630, it belongs to the red sect. Its popularity stems from the major annual festival held during summer in honour of their Guru Padma Sambhava's birth anniversary, every 12 years the thanka with his photograph is displayed - the largest in the world. The monastery houses silver chortens studded with precious and semi precious stones, an impressive library of Tibetan style books, large number of thankas, various images of Buddha and frescoes including the famous "Wheel of Life". Stok Palace Museum, the Queen of Ladakh still lives in this Palace. More than palace it is the surrounding views of Barron Mountains and formation which are extraordinary. Return back to your hotel en route visiting SOS Tibetan Refugee Camp. In the afternoon walk to the Leh Fort that dominates the city. The view from atop the fort is magnificent.   • Day 09: Leh - Yangthang - Leh via Likir with pack lunch: Early morning after breakfast Drive from Leh - Yangthang via Likir along with Pack Lunch start the trek towards south through trail behind the monastery, amid wheat fields. After walk for 20minutes, you come down to the rough Motor able road to Hemis Shukpachan. Ignore the road and walk through the trail down the road along with Stupas west word. The easy ascent starts, from here which leads you to the top of the small pass "Changatse" (3,700M). Again leave the road on your right and walk through the trail down and up to the road. From here you can have the view of a hamlet called Saspotse. Walk towards the village leaving the road on your right hand side. From here our car will pick you up. Return Leh for Dinner and Overnight stay at your Hotel Royal Palace / Namgayal Palace or similar - Leh.
     
  • Day 10: Leh : Stok - Matho Trek: After breakfast drive to Stock along with Pack Lunch. The 5-6 hour trek to the pass is steep, but exhilarating as you walk up a spectacularly high barren valley of ever-changing color. In every direction there is a stunning panorama. Giant fingers of granite hundreds of feet long and massive dunes of purple scree contrast with the deep blue skies of the Tibetan Plateau. The path steepens and the air thins as you climb towards Stok La (14,200'). Stopping to catch your breath you can look back across the Indus Valley into the Karakoram Mountains. Continue hiking downhill near Stok where car will pick you up. Return back to hotel for overnight stay. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel Royal Palace / Namgayal Palace or similar - Leh.
     
  • Day 11 in Leh: Shankar - A relatively modern monastery, it is closely associated with the Spituk monastery and serves as the residence of the head priest - Kushak Bakula. A number of gold icons are to be found here. Phyang - Belonging to the red sect, this Gompa was built in the 16th century. Just 16 kms from Leh, it houses hundreds of statues, thankas, old manuscripts and some old weapons. Spituk - 8 kms from Leh, standing majestically on top of a hillock overlooking the Indus Valley, Spituk Gompa is from the yellow sect. It houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms, icons and numerous thankas. Higher up the hill is the Mahakal Temple, containing the shrine of Vajrabhairava. This terrifying face is unveiled only at the annual festival in January. Shanti Stupa of Ladakh is located on the hilltop at Changspa. It can be reached quite easily from the Fort Road. The Stupa was constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization, known as 'The Japanese for World Peace'. The aim behind the construction of the stupa was to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and to promote World Peace. His Holiness, the Dalai Lama inaugurated the Shanti Stupa in the year 1985.A magnificent white-domed structure, the Shanti Stupa of Leh Ladakh offers spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. The stupa looks best at night, when it is beautifully illuminated with glittering lights. A large number of tourists come to Ladakh every year to visit this amazing stupa. Day 11: In Leh: Proceed for Leh along with Pack Lunch to Saboo via Tsemo (3/4 hours walk) located at the distance of 08 Kms. East of Leh, its altitude is 3450 Mts. A relatively large village, it is composed of five distinct hamlets or localities: saboo, Meyak, Yoknos and Ayu. Each of these hamlets has its own deities, associated with the most sacred spots.   • Day 12: In Leh: After breakfast drive for full day visit to Chemery / Takthok & Stakna with Pack Lunch. Chemre situated in the picturesque valley leading to Changla, the gompa was constructed as a funeral act of merit on Sengge Namgyal's death in 1645. A large collection of scriptures with title pages in sterling silver and the text in gold letters is kept here. Close by a cave monastery reputed to have been the abode of Padma Sambhav during one of his periods of meditation. Takthok. situated on the top of the village. Guru Padmashambhava used to meditate in this cave. This monastery also has a very famous festival in the month of August. There is also a new monastery with big statues of Guru Stakna. A few Km up streams from Thiksey, Stakna is situated in a 60 meter high isolated rock. It belongs to Kagyupa gompa is sited in a commanding position on its own clung of rock in the centre of Indus valley. It was repainted in 1982 and is now one of the most colourful and bright gompa in Ladakh. Monastery has beautiful paintings, thankhas and statues of various ideals. Padmashambhava.
